SAT or PSAT — What's the Difference?
The PSAT/NMSQT is typically taken in 10th grade for practice and again in 11th grade (October) to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program. The SAT is usually first attempted in the spring of 10th grade once a student has completed Algebra 1, with a second attempt in the fall of 11th grade if needed. Our tutors help you plan the right timeline for your student.
See our dedicated SAT Prep andPSAT Prep pages for the full program details.
